R-100 Knitted Poppies
To get you started here is an easy garter stitch poppy pattern:
Using 3.75 needles to achieve a tight finish and a quantity of red yarn, cast on 70 stitches.
Knit 8 rows garter stitch.
Rows 9-11 knit 2 tog across row.
To finish, cut the yarn and thread it through the remaining stitches.
Sew the edges together to form a round.
Sew a black button in the centre.
Please sew two threads through the middle to leave app six inches at the back to tie onto the display.
